Adding Texture to Cards with Scor-Pal

I love the detail that a little texture can to any project. I decided to use my Scor-Buddy to add some finishing touches to a couple of cards. I chose to fussy cut the butterflies from the Field Notes collection as a starting point, for both of the cards.

I found that the scoring on the card with the kraft background didn't show up as nicely as I wanted. I swiped some watermark ink over the surface of the card, to help highlight the raised areas and I was much happier with how it looked!

The second card I created, needed the space framed down around the journaling card from the Promise Me collection. The scoring showed up nicely on the white background and I added bits of turquoise to tie the look of the card together.

I hope I've inspired you to create today! Thanks for visiting!
