Easy DIY R2D2 T-Shirt Halloween Costume Idea

Do you like to make your own Halloween costumes? We love using our creativity to come up with ideas, especially when our kids have something in mind that can't be found at the store. It can be really fun and save you some money too!

Today and tomorrow we are sharing 2 simple t-shirt costumes using iron-on sheets, our favorite product for making Halloween costumes. They come in a variety of colors and can be cut into any shape you want.

To make your own R2D2 shirt, you will need cutting templates, scissors or a cutting machine, a white t-shirt, iron, and iron-on sheets (we used blue, black and metallic silver).

First, trace your pieces onto the iron-on sheets or cut them with your cutting machine. We did a some both ways.

Next, arrange the pieces on the shirt. We suggest doing one layer at a time.

Last, iron on the pieces. Easy, huh?

We love how versatile these iron-on sheets are. This would be a fun shirt to wear after Halloween too. The nice thing is you can wash these and the iron-ons are permanent. Make sure to check back tomorrow to learn how we made the strawberry shirt!
