We have really enjoyed this year’s design team and are sad to see them go. :( But, it’s time for next year’s design team call! We are switching things up. So, please read the details carefully. Applications will be accepted through October 10th.
SHOULD YOU APPLY?
1. Applicants will be accepted from the Continental US and Canada.
2. Selected design team members will be sent SEI products to create 2 projects per month with (which will be featured on our blog) and a small monthly stipend.
3. We encourage all crafters (paper-crafters, fashion DIY, party DIY, home decorators, etc) ANY creative individual to apply. Please read the specialties below to see if there is an area that interests you.
4. We expect a 1 year commitment.
5. Design team member's first projects will be due November 15th.
HOW DO YOU APPLY?
1. Send an e-mail with the subject line "Your Name -- DT Call" to seiblog{at}shopsei{dot}com. Provide this information in the e-mail: Name, speciality preferences (see below), state or province, and blog address (optional). Please do not add any additional information.
2. Attach 5 project images (800 x 800 pixels each or smaller). These images should represent your style and best creative work. Photos REALLY matter!
3. You don't need to use SEI product in your application projects.
DESIGN TEAM SPECIALITIES:
• Fashion DIY: We are looking for 1 or 2 crafters who enjoy creating wearable art to use our tumble dye and iron-ons to create trend-forward wearable projects.
• Craft DIY: We are seeking 1 or 2 crafters who enjoy creating a variety of craft projects. These projects might be for their home, events, kids, etc. We prefer crafters that are interested in using a variety of products, including scrapbook supplies, dyes & iron-ons.
• Paper-crafting: We are looking for 1 or 2 designers who enjoy creating scrapbook layouts, cards other paper projects.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU APPLY?
1. You should receive an e-mail confirming that we received your application, along with a few more specifics within 2 full business days. PLEASE don't respond to this e-mail, unless to withdraw your application.
2. If you do not receive an e-mail within 2 full business days after applying, contact us at seiblog{at}shopsei{dot}com. All applicants should have received this confirmation e-mail before October 13th.
3. Applicants will find out whether or not they have been accepted on or before October 15th.
