Pop-up Cards Featuring Simple Blessings

Hi, Connie here with a fun Pop-Up card using the beautiful Simple Blessings Collection by S.E.I. I love the fall colors in this collection, along with the die-cuts and stickers. So easy to create something beautiful when you start with something beautiful.

With a Pop-Up card it is all about what is inside the card. I clustered the beautiful embellishments from the Simple Blessings Collection to create the inside of the card.

The front of the card is just as pretty using the Simple Blessings Collection. I speckled the front and inside, of the card, with black Tumble Dye by S.E.I.

This is my last post for S.E.I. and I just wanted to say it has been a pleasure creating with your beautiful products. Thank You for having me.

Simple Halloween Pumpkin Decor

Hi, Connie here with a fun project using the Simple Blessings Collection by S.E.I. Fall is right around the corner and I have a grandson that loves pumpkins, so I knew what I needed to make!! A pumpkin it will be.

I used a wooden letter "C" and turned it on its side, to get the shape of a pumpkin. I adhered a tree branch to the top for the pumpkin stem and then covered the wooden letter with pattern paper from the Simple Blessings Collection. The edges of the wooden letter were sanded down after the paper was adhered, for a clean smooth edge. Using the die-cut pack and the sticker pack I clustered embellishments around the branch at the top of the pumpkin. Gave it a fun festive look.

Black and red Tumble Dye were speckled on the front of the pumpkin, creating this home decor piece for Fall.

I hope you enjoyed this project!!

Scrapbook Layout - Wishes for You

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Wishes for you Collection by S.E.I. This collection has bright papers and is full of all kinds of stickers, that work perfect for a scrapbook page or cards!

I love clustering embellishments, like stickers and die cuts, together in group. Over lapping the stickers and popping them up adds dimension to your page and brings attention to the photo.

I love using the Tumble Dye as a mist when I have completed the layout. It gives it a great look and so easy to apply. Just take the lid off and tap with your finger and small drops will come out. Very easy to control the dye this way.

Simple DIY Teacher Gift - Back to School

Hi, Connie here with a cute idea for a back to school teacher's gift using the Wishes for you Collection from S.E.I. This collection has pretty paper and cute stickers, perfect for this project.

You can make three of these notepads from one sheet of pattern paper. First you need to make a stop at an office supply store and have them cut the legal size notepads in fourths for you. Some places charge and some don't. If you like the pads to be wider, have them cut in thirds. I have made them in both sizes.

Lay your notepad on the pattern paper and size it up like you would mat a photo. Should be around 2 1/2" W x 12" L. You will need a small strip to cover up the top part of the notepad. That is what you will adhere the sticker and sentiment to.

Teacher's love these decorated notepads, that are super cute on their desk. S.E.I. has cute paper collections that would be really made up for teachers or you!!

Simple DIY Hangtag Gift Idea

Hi Connie here with a project that will work perfect with my last blog post using the Sprinkles Collection by S.E.I. This collection is great for cards and making party decorations. Let me show you~

This is a hang tag, that was placed over a water bottle, with a pack of seeds in the pocket (created on the front of the hang tag). The dimensions are 3 3/4"W X 8" L. Score at 5" and punch a circle (inch and a half) in the top flap. You can make the tag as long as you need, depending on the size of bottle you want to create a hang tag for.

Create a pocket, decorate and fill it with a birthday treat. The bottle could also be a soda. So many ways you could put this together. The ideas are endless.

A fun project!!

Summer Fun Scrapbook Layout

Hi Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Cheery Hello collection by S.E.I. I love the bright colors in this collection! Reminds me of summer time and fun. The collection has the best summer time embellishments that look great on a scrapbook page, card or a craft project.

I was able to get six photos, on my scrapbook page, by making a flip up mat. Sort of like a card. The photos were cut down and then matted, two on the front and four on the inside of the mat.

The Cheery Hello embellishment pack contains really cute images. The watermelon made a cute tab to lift up the mat, to show the four photographs on the inside of the mat. The birds, trees and clouds fit in well also.

I love to speckle black Tumble dye on my project, to give it a finished look. Dries super fast and looks great! Have fun creating and be sure to spit those seeds out!

Hello Scrapbook Layout & Giveaway Announcement

Hi, Connie here with another scrapbook page using the Cheery Hello collection by S.E.I. I did two pages using the papers from the Cheery Hello collection, so the scrapbook pages could be displayed side by side in an album. I'll show you what I mean at the end of the post~

The flower pattern was such a perfect background paper for the chalk board scalloped paper. I love how they look together. The embellishments pop off the black paper. What a great look!

The Cheery Hello collection comes with script words, borders & titles and a die-cut pack. So much to create with in this collection. Enough for many different craft projects and more.

Both of these pages were created to go side by side. The papers are wonderful together and side by side. Thank you S.E.I. for a great collection of beautiful papers to create with.

Cousin Scrapbook Layout with Florets

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Florets Collection by S.e.i. I love the bright papers that scream "Spring is Here" to me. I have been saving these sweet photos for just the right papers. Florets by S.E.I. is designed beautifully and so perfect!!

The stickers are on a sticker sheet that comes in the collection. So easy to add and create embellishments using the stickers from the Florets Collection. I created a small banner using the Hello stickers on the sticker sheet. All that was added extra was twine.

The Florets die-cut pack is full of die-cut flowers that look really cute on a scrapbook page. They are ready to create with, just add adhesive to the back of the die -cut.

Tumble Dye by S.e.i is not just for fabric projects. Tumble Dye makes a great looking splat for those scrapbook pages. That is one of my favorite uses for Tumble Dye. Black and Brown are a must have. Check out S.E.I., it is full of Summer fun!

Pretty Follow Your Heart Card

Hi, Connie here with a card using the, very pretty, Always Yours Collection by S.E.I. This collection is beautiful!! It comes with soft, pastel colored papers that remind me of vintage wall paper. The papers are fun to create with, while mixing it up also.

The Always Yours Sundries pack is full of very pretty embellishments that look great on any project. The ribbon in the pack is white but can be easily dyed with Tumble Dye. Tumble Dye is great for a speckle effect on your finished card. All you do is take the lid off the spray bottle and tap on the lid to get a speckle effect. You might want to practice before you speckle your project.

The leaves are cut from the Florets Collection, using a steel die. The "follow your heart" is stamped on white cardstock and cut out by hand. Did you notice the lace paper borders? So pretty!!!!

Florets Covered Composition Notebook

Hi, Connie here with a journal notebook using the Florets Collection by S.E.I. In the collection it has a sheet of cork paper. It's not paper, it is cork but the size of paper. I really wanted to create something with this, very cool, sheet of cork. I decided to cover a composition notebook with it ~

I started out like this~

I used double sided tape to hold the cork paper in place. Place the double sided tape as close to the edge of the composition notebook as you can. The cork will chip off, if it is not right on the edge. Cut some one inch strips of paper to cover up the seem. Take a pillow box and cut it half and use the bottom to hold the flowers.

The Florets die cut flowers can be arranged like a bouquet. The centers are in the Florets sundries pack. I also added Bright paper doilies under the pillow box for color. Speckled with black Tumble Dye to finish it off. Looking forward to using this journal notebook.

"Close Call" Spring Scrapbook Layout

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Florets Collection by S.E.I. This is a gorgeous collection of Spring papers and it is always fun to add a little Tumble Dye to create a background for cardstock. What I love about using the Tumble Dye for paint splats is, it is quick to dry. So important for damage control.

The greens and gold colors in the Floret Collection were so perfect for these photos. The cobalt blue is a great addition to the colors used in this collection. Spring is in the air!

The selection of stickers are great to cluster on areas of the scrapbook page. Adding dimension, to the stickers, gives for a great look.

Back to the Tumble Dye / Brown, this is a fabulous product to use for paint splats on paper. It is quick to dry and doesn't bleed through the cardstock. My new "go to" for paint splats or paint dots. Try it, you will want every color of Tumble Dye to create with.

Life is Better with You: Summer Scrapbook Layout

Hi, Connie here with a scrapbook page using the Florets Collection by S.e.i. I love the deep blue color and gold color paired together in this collection. It looks very manly, making it perfect for my photograph. Let me show you~

The round decorative paper was created using a punch. The flower box was created out of the Pillow Box by S.e.i. All you do is cut the Pillow box in half and round the bottom corners. The flowers, from the Floret Collection, are clustered around the top of the Pillow Box. I can't forget the Tumble Dye/Black, great for adding the paint splats! Quick to dry and great look.

A simple and quick scrapbook page, that is announcing Spring is here! Don't those chairs look amazing? So comfy!!
