Travel Dreams + Giveaway [CLOSED]

My favorite time of year is summer. And with summer comes all kinds of new travel-themed scrapbooking goodies! I was lucky enough to work with the On the Coast collection this month. It’s full of bright, fun colors and is perfect for scrapbooking those fun tropical vacations. But it’s also great for scrapbooking any travel themed page. I made this fun “Travel Dreams” minibook and used the On the Coast collection to scrapbook places all over the world that I’d love to see.

club SEI has a great kit this month that features the On the Coast collection along with a fun acrylic minibook. I love using kits, and I love to come up with unconventional ways to use the contents. The edges of the acrylic minibook look like clouds, so I cut them off, added a little paint around the edges, and used them as cute embellishments on the front of my minibook.

I still have the acrylic minibook (now with straight edges) for another project! My minibook is made of simple 8x8” chipboard sheets, bound together with book rings.

I added a few pieces of glittery chipboard, some foam stickers, and a few jewels from my stash as embellishments on each page:

Thank you so much for stopping by the SEI blog this week... it’s been tons of fun sharing posts with you all!

xo,
Nancy

I liked them all but the one that stood out was the "scrapbooking ourselves". Great article and I loved the layouts.

I think the scrapbook ourself was great, it's a good idea and something fun to pass onto our kids. I really like the minibook from today's post, it's great way to use the Coast paper.

I really love today's mini-book. I need to scrap some recent pictures from my first real trip to Vegas. I think this mini book would be a great gift for my mom and aunt, since we took the trip together.

Thanks for all the great ideas!

I really loved all of Nancy's post--she shared so much of her inspiration and her creative process, and it's been such an inspiration for me. I think my favorite post was today's. What a creative way to use the On the Coast paper--I never would have thought about using it for places like Egypt and India, but it worked perfectly for her! I love travelling internationally, so was also excited to see the international theme.
