Hairstyles

Hello and welcome back! I have a teenage girl in the house, the topic of hair is an IMPORTANT one! So I turned to Pinterest for help for new quick & easy styles of updos. I found a WONDERFUL board of Pins for hair by the Beauty Department their pin board can be found here they have all sorts of beauty tips. This past week we have tried a couple of hairstyles that have worked out REALLY well for her fine sometimes fly away hair.

Updo #1:

A couple of tips that worked well for us. My daughter had wet hair with mousse in it. I twisted BOTH sides of the part THEN tied the hair together, this helped to keep all the hairs together and tied.

Updo #2:

This one was pretty straight forward. Although we added bobby pins for security, the hair came back just like it had in the morning and that was AFTER she had been in her PE class and changed her clothes!

Here is another pin I found that we want to try when the weather cools down here, (that’s when we let our hair down!):

I’m hoping these pins help those out there that are looking for a change in hair style that isn’t TOO difficult--happy styling! -thanks for stopping by today!

I wish I had long hair to try them!

I have long, really fine hair. It's hard to make it look interesting. I like to try though.

My 14 year old has gorgeous, long, thick hair. (I'm so jealous - she didn't get it from me!) She usually wears it down but she's always coming up with cute ways to keep it off her face. She likes to put it in a side braid too, which I think looks really cute.

These are some nice looking styles. My hair is very short, so won't work for me!

I keep my hair short so they won't work for me. And I don't think my boys will let me fix their hair lol
