Hi Kim here to share a selection of cards with you today! The lexington Card making pad from Sei has just the right complimentary colors to make some very quick and easy cards.
I like layering a few different patterns on bright white cardstock and then adding a few other things like sketched flowers, stickers and string. I wanted them to be bright and fresh, but still simple and pretty. For some of the cards I used a layer of gesso just for a more shabby distressed look.
I like to adhere my stickers to cardstock first and then cut them out so that I can add them to my cards with pop dots. That's a good way to add dimension and then you can also place things underneath them.
I used a few stickers on each card and then layered little butterflies and flowers around them. Once I made the first card I kept with the same theme and came up with a few that all went very well together. I really like the idea of a card pad because all the necessary items are there, all you need is a nice set of cards!
Thanks for stopping by today!
