Sometimes I find it can be a challenge to find something inexpensive that will be appreciated when attending a gift exchange. I have discovered that a small set of handmade tags is greatly appreciated. The tags are great for decorating packages, adding to housewarming gifts or giving instead of a card. I like to give a set of tags, 3-5 depending on the time I have to create.
I like use elements that are easy to add to a tag. The sticker sheet from the Holiday Traditions collection made for a great starting point. I used the 6x6 Holiday traditions paper pad to create the paper elements as the smaller prints suit the tags.
I ran each of the tags through and embossing folder and lightly misted them for a little added shimmer. The metallic highlights in the paper were perfect to further add shine. I used my favourite punches and dies to create the tags. Keeping the elements similar, made it faster to create this set. I also added some of the metallic washi tape to the bottom of two of the tags. I like the way the tape finished off the tags.
Happy Holidays!
