Recipe Organizer + Giveaway Announcement

I love finding recipes on Pinterest. I learned quickly, though, that if I didn't print out the recipes I found, the links might not be good when I finally do get around to trying the recipes. So, I've been printing recipes as I find them, and they've been getting crumpled and lost in my kitchen ever since. I finally found a solution when I opened Club SEI's January paper crafting kit.

This adorable folio filled with page protectors came to my rescue! I divided the page protectors with the kraft inserts. Tip: To make the inserts turn nicely in the folio, I scored the inserts where they would bend from the spine of the folio.

Next, I embellished the inserts with bits of patterned paper from the kit, as well as fussy-cut birds from that beautiful pink paper. I added doilies and a bit of washi tape from my own stash.

I punched divider tabs from another patterned paper and added one to each insert. Lastly, I added titles to each section with my Silhouette Cameo machine and alpha stickers.

I love that the dividers have pockets or clips. When I print out a recipe, I don't necessarily want to commit it to my recipe book right away - sometimes these things need testing and tweaking. Using this folio, I can tuck the printed recipe in a divider, then add it to a page protector once I know it's a keeper.

Because this book is going to be on a shelf with my other cookbooks, I didn't decorate the front - I didn't want anything to be rubbed off or to get dirty.

Thanks to SEI for a solution to my recipe dilemma, and for cute supplies that make that solution cute and stylish!

Tessa
