Hi everyone! It's April - here to share a year in review layout that I created with some supplies and scraps from the January Papercrafting kit.
The kit came with a 12x12 perforated page that had the months titled on it. I like how the page looked as a whole and figured this would be a great way to finish off my 2013 project life style album, so I kept it as one sheet instead of ripping it apart. I actually love the texture that the pre-perforated page had!
Without realizing it, my husband and I took a photo together at least once every month. It was fun to find a photo each month to incorporate it into this spread. The only month we missed taking an actual photo together was for the month of February. But, it so happened that I had created this photo collage of us as zombies, so I added that photo instead. (Freaky, I know. We're huge fans of the TV show, "Walking Dead" and they have an app that you can "dead yourself" which is how I made this.)
Here are some close-ups of some of the typical scrapbooking techniques that I like to add to my pages: hand stitching and layering.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

I love the year in review idea. I also love the placement of all the little embellishments in each month.
