DIY Holiday Decorations with Scrapbook Paper

Do you like to make your own holiday decorations? We do! It's a great way to freshen up and re-mix your usual decor. So, today we thought we'd share some diy decor ideas.

This month's Club SEI paper-crafting kit includes a fun and simple wreath kit with pre-cut leaf pieces. So, we used some pieces of the kit to make these projects.

The first project is a poinsettia wreath. We used some of the pre-cut leaves from the wreath kit. We also cut some red leave shapes. After shaping and layering the leaves, we attached them to the wreath base included in the kit.

The second idea is this little tree decoration. Wouldn't it make a cute mantel accent? We started by shaping a piece of paper into a cone. Then, we added the pre-cut leave pieces from the kit. That's it!

We hope one of these ideas have inspired you to make something new for the holidays.

Thanks, Barbara! The winner is on the widget now. It was Kim V. But, don't worry I'm sure we'll be doing another giveaway this month. Good luck! :)
