Fall Gift Bags Made from Envelopes

It's me Piali here! Today I have fun fall project to share. I used September Papercrafting Kit bit differently. The September Papercrafting Envelope album Kit comes with Kraft envelopes. I used those envelopes to make simple gift bags which can be used as a place setting for Thanksgiving day meal and it can double up as a favor too.

Here are the supplies I used for this project.

First I will share the step-by-step instructions for making the bag out of the envelopes.

1. Seal the envelope close.
2. Cut the 1/4 “off the one side , you can use deco scissors for a nice finished look.
3. Score the all three sides at ½” (as shown in the photo). Fold on the score lines. Fold the corners at the bottom and adhere it to the base with adhesive to make a free standing bag.

Then comes the fun decorating part…

I sprayed the Kraft bags with Tumble Dye Gold Glitter. I used the papers, banners and embellishments from the kit to decorate the bags. I also used Autumn Smiles collection diecut leaves pack, jute ribbon and sundries pack for this project. All the products work perfectly together.

I also used Tumble Dye Gold Glitter to create few splatters on the finished bag…love the gold shine!!

Here is a close look at each bag..
