Hi, Connie here with a small Book Bag using Tumble Dye and Iron-On-Art by SEI. On this project I tied the middle section, of the bag, and then sprayed with Tumble Dye Green and then sprayed some water on the book bag. The water helps move the Tumble Dye on the fabric. I placed a piece of wax paper inside the bag, so the dye would not soak through to the back side.
Let the project air dry and then toss it in the dyer for a few minutes to set the color. The apple is cut out of, one Canvas Banner piece by SEI. The same process was used to dye the apple, only the Tumble Dye Red was used. The apple was glued to the bag and highlighted with the Black Color My Own Fabric Markers by SEI.
The leaf is cut out of the Iron-On-Art/Houndstooth by SEI. Then ironed on the Book Bag next to the apple. The apple stem is a small tree branch from the yard . Adhered trim and button to finish off the Book Bag. Cute bag idea for gift giving!
Thanks for stopping by~
