In my page "Feathered Friends" I've used papers and elements from the Field Notes Collection, the Navy Puff Alphabet, Tile Letters from the Desert Springs Assortment Pack and some leftover cork to help me capture some of my son's favorite photos from a recent day out at the zoo.
The inspiration for this layout came from the bird journalers included in the Field Notes Tear-Apart Sheet. I absolutely loved them the moment i laid eyes on them and they instantly reminded me of all of the great photos I got of the exotic birds at Willow Park Zoo--a small animal reserve and bird aviary located near us.
My son helped me pick out which photos to put on the page and I decided to print my photos out at 1.5 x1.5 so we could get all of our favorites on the page without it getting too crowded. Then I used leftover cork to create a mat that I could pin and tape the small square photos to in a way that would help draw attention to the small photos and add a fun spin to the overall design.
