Fall for Fall Scrapbook Layout

Hi everyone, I wanted to create a layout around the colors of fall. There are some really great golden hues throughout the new Entrada and Mirelle collections. For my layout I wanted to use a photo of a branch full of golden leaves. It went perfectly with a lot of the patterned papers. I used the beige canvas paper in the collection as my base and sort of distressed the edges a little because I like things a little bit messy. Then I layered several of the papers on top of each other.

I see one of the trends this season is the layering of leaves and other handcut fall elements. I cut my leaves from white cardstock using a simple pattern but you can draw them however you like or cut them from a cutting machine. I used beige cardstock as my base paper so I wanted the leaves to stand out a little, and the white really does that.

To complete the layout I made a hand cut title with a gold pen. It's a little fussy cutting but really does give a layout a more personal feel. I really enjoy making layouts themed for the season and I'm so excited that fall is on it's way!

Have a great day!

Kim

I love the muted look with the splash of yellow. But most of all, I LOVE your handcut elements! Always!
