Tumble Dye Home Decor + Giveaway

Surprise! We're having a special Tumble Dye week! Don't miss the amazing projects, tutorials, free downloads, and giveaways in store.

Today we want to show some fun home decor projects we created to make a simple dining room fabulous. You can use or mix any color of dye you want to coordinate with your home.

You don't have to go out and buy a bunch of new things, use what you already have. Most of us have a plain table cloth, some sheer curtains, napkins, or wooden spoons.

This dining room is full of Tumble Dye projects! The mason jars started out clear and were tinted different colors using the tutorial here. Wouldn't they be pretty for a wedding centerpiece?

The table cloth, sheer curtains, and napkins also started out white. We used the dip-dye method to add that pretty ombre look that is so hot right now. More on that tomorrow! :)

For today, we wanted to teach you how we made the triangle artwork, using a stencil. We used this same concept for our striped place mats and pink wooden spoon. Except, we used masking tape instead of paper for our stencil.

1. Protect your clothing and work area from overspray.
2. Gather your supplies: Framed wood (we used the back of an old cork board), Tumble Dye, masking tape, paper, scissors, and paper towels. We also used spray adhesive and a clear top coat spray.
3. After taping off the inside of your frame, spray charcoal tumble dye onto part of a paper towel. Wipe the Tumble Dye onto your frame.
4. Once the frame is dry, tape it off.
5. Cut several triangles out of paper. Spray the back of the triangles with spray adhesive or tape the back to keep them in place. We recommend the spray adhesive for a cleaner edge.
6. Arrange the triangles as shown or create your own design.
7. Spray the Tumble Dye as desired.
8. Let it dry, peel off the paper triangles & tape, and spray with topcoat.

If you'd like to enter to win our neon Tumble Dye 3-pack, follow the directions below. Hurry, the giveaway ends tomorrow!
