2014 Design Team Announcement

They won't begin sharing their projects on the blog until November. But we're excited to get to know a little bit about them now. Introducing...

April Joy Hill: Club SEI Papercrafting Kit Contributor
· My full first name is April Joy, but it's usually too long to say, so friends and family just call me April or Apes!
· My husband and I live in Sunny San Diego. (I was born, raised, and have never left this city!) · I'm a mechanical engineer by day, but a crafter and more recently, a calligrapher, at heart! I fell in love with scrapbooking when I was in high school and have been hooked ever since. Calligraphy is something new I picked up this year, but have been obsessed since I attended my first class.
· I am primarily a Project Life type scrapbooker and I love to treat each pocket like a mini scrapbooking page.
· Eating desserts (specifically cupcakes, french macarons, and ice cream) is one of my most favorite past times.

Elizabeth Hellum: Club SEI Scrapbooking Kit Contributor
· I'm Elizabeth.
· Living in Seattle.
· Family of 4.
· Scrapper for over 15 years.
· Growing & learning daily in grace!




Joy Dickson: Lifestyle Contributor
· I'm married to my very best friend and we have three kiddos. Our daughter is a sophomore in college...and I can't believe we're old enough for that to be true!
· Crafting is my passion! If I had to pick a favorite thing to make it would probably be something 3D but really...I like it all!
· I just got an English Mastiff puppy and am amazed at her rapid growth and gentle nature. I've had a cat for 8 years and never thought I wasn't a dog person, until now. I'm in love.
· A few things most people don't know about me: I'm almost a black belt in Choi Kwang Do martial arts. I learned woodworking when I had to take a Stagecraft class in college. I love the post office and mailing things. (I spent most of my life unaware that my grandmother had been the Postmaster in her town. I always wonder if that's somehow in my DNA. LOL!)
· I'm so honored to be on this Team!

Kathy Martin: Club SEI Cardmaking Kit Contributor
· I live in North Carolina with my husband, Dan, our 12 year old son, Christopher and three very fuzzy cats.
· I've been paper crafting since 2001. When Christopher was born I wanted to make his announcements by hand and quickly became addicted to playing with paper!
· My favorite tool....dies! I love cut files and thin metal dies!
· When I'm not playing with paper, I enjoy cooking, reading, antiquing, gardening and crocheting.

Sarah Webb:
Papercrafting Contributor
· I live in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, my supportive husband and 2 cute kids.
· I love to craft and create at the end of the day to unwind.
· My favourite crafty supply is paper!
· I enjoy running to stay fit.
· I am thrilled to be back working with SEI for another year!

Thuy Bui: Lifestyle Contributor
· Mom of two very active little boys

· My favorite crafting supplies are glitter and washi tape





Tyra Babington:
Challenge Coordinator
· I wear only one contact lens.
· I love the colors (at least for the moment) gray, yellow and teal.
· My favorite TV Show is Once Upon a Time and my favorite character is Rumplestiltskin/Mr Gold (Yes, Dearie!).
· I love watching football (Go Irish!).
· My favorite city is San Francisco.
