I recently went to a concert headlined by the band Train. It was so much fun! Between the music, the lights and the energy of a live performance, it was a phenomenal experience! I wanted to capture the same vibrancy in a layout, so I went straight to my favorite piece of paper from the Blossoms and Blooms line:
The sharp angles and bright colors reminded me of the laser lights beaming from the stage. I wanted to jazz up the paper a bit more, though, so I used two techniques. First, I added patterned paper (floral from Think of Me) to several of the triangles. To get a perfect fit, I used a second piece of the background paper as a template.
Next, I added stitching to a few of the triangles. Random, imperfect x's give the page texture and a funky vibe.
I also used a fun font for my title, cut with my Silhouette Cameo. It's called Soymilk, and I think it's perfect for a rock-and-roll layout.
Thanks to SEI for such a fun patterned paper to build a layout on!

Great layout. Love all the different techniques. Sounds like you have a fantastic time at the concert. Train is one of favorite bands to see live. Me and my daughter never miss them when they come local. And the wine from their vineyard is amazing. They put on one of the best live shows.
