One of our favorite traditions every year at this time is to go for an old fashioned horse drawn carriage ride downtown. Our town offers free rides every year at Christmastime and this tradition has become a favorite way to bring in the season!
I kept this 12 x 12 layout pretty simple with using just two photos from our adventure but varied the sizes. I utilized an envelope for added journaling and printed the rest of my journaling using my computer and then cut it into strips before adhering it to my layout.
I thought the subtle soft colors of the papers used in this layout were perfect for snowy winter scenes.
Do you have any favorite traditions leading up to Christmas that you would like to share? Be sure to get that camera out to capture those moments!
Supplies Used:
Noel Collection - Frigid Lights patterned paper (reverse)
Noel Collection - Winter Chill patterned paper (front and reverse)
SEI Crafts - Wood Grain Envelopes
Noel Collection - Sundries (metal snowflakes, grey pearls)
Noel Collection - stickers
Noel Collection - perforated sheet
SEI Bright Paper Doilies

A very pretty page. We also have horse drawn wagon rides at Christmastime in our town. The kids love it and the horses are so beautiful. I wish they would have them in the spring and fall too, just so that we're not freezing the whole time!
That would be such a good idea Jenny! This year our toes were frozen!!
Beautiful papers for your layout. And just love the two different sized photos along with two perspective views of your holiday tradition. We always go to the local tree farm and cut down our own tree. :)
Thanks for sharing Vicky! We used to cut down a tree in the woods and haul it home when I was little. Love those memories!
