Spring Bicycle Layout

Hello! Stephanie here, sharing a quick and easy scrapbook layout using January's Club SEI Paper Crafting Kit.

I enjoy riding bikes, so when I saw the bicycle elements in this kit, I fell in love! I knew I had to make a bicycling-themed layout.

Using a single favorite 4x6 photo gives the layout a focal point. I also wanted the bicycle die-cut to stand out, so I adhered it to the page with foam adhesive to give it an extra pop.

Although this kit is called Winter Blossoms, the pastel hues and floral embellishments make it perfect for spring crafting. What have you made using this kit? Leave us a comment with a link to your pages and projects.

Have a great day,
Stephanie

#LifeLessons

Hi! It's Kelly here today to share with you a layout combining the Forever Sassy and Hoo's Sweet collections. Keeping the color scheme more masculine, I pulled blue and green elements from them both. The colors were a perfect match for my boy themed page.

I thought it would be fun to create a grid design using a mat that I took out of an 8.5x11 document frame. I originally set one box aside for the photo, one for the title, one for an embellishment cluster, and one for the journaling. But, after I had it all laid out, I started moving things around. I feel like the end result draws the eye across the page a little bit better.

Combining these two collections was effortless, as the colors were a perfect match. Thanks for stopping by today!

Supplies
Hoo's Sweet - Little Petals, stickers
Forever Sassy - Cheeky Snippets, stickers, Sundries, Assorted Overlays
Chalet - Sundries
Basics - Sundries

"Right Now" Scrapbook Layout

I don't know about you, but when I am struggling with ideas for creating layouts I tend to either keep things simple or use a grid styled layout for my design. For this layout I just wasn't feeling it initially...but once I started moving my pictures around a bit and played with a grid-like layout things started coming together.

Using papers from the Catalina collection from SEI was perfect for these photos. These pictures were taken in March and you can tell that spring was trying to be on it's merry little way (even if it's just from the bright and cheery colors that my daughter is wearing)... I love the delicate little flower design on the patterned paper that I used for the blocking on the top and bottom of my layout.

Adding some of the kraft chips and some trims was just the thing to give my layout a finished look. I've been on a kick using my computer for my journaling too...I like how I was able to incorporate my journaling into the grid design here.

Supplies:
Catalina Paper - Granny Chic
Catalina Paper - Verdigris
Catalina Punch Tags - Applique
Catalina Sundries
Catalina Kraft Chips
Misc. - Ribbon Trim

"You Smile" Mini Album

Hello SEI Fans!!

Piali here, today I have a mini album to share with you all. I used the beautiful "Forever Sassy" collection for my project....

Very simple to make...just adhere the note cards to one another so that you get an accordion fold album.

The "Smile" cover is a precut SEI frame...love it! I embellished it with some stickers and glittered dots.

I made this album for a gift...its all pre-made for the recipient to add own photos and journalling.

It was super fun to make but very hard to show in the photograph. I used papers and perforated cards from Forever Sassy collection for the pages inside the album.

It's a double sided album...and here is the other side.....

Here is close up of how the pages look... I adhered all the tree sides of each frames so that recipient can easily slide the photos in.

I used the twine to wrap around the the mini album as a closure..

Hope you all like this note card mini album!!

Thanks for stopping by..
Happy Crafting!

Happy Spring Magnets

Hi there! Have you seen the Neon Vibes Club SEI March Card Making Kit yet? It will totally have you thinking the old rhyme "April showers bring May flowers..." with all the cute rainy day/spring sunshine elements.

This winter seemed to last forever, so I am ready to bring out everything spring now that the weather is finally warming up. I thought it would be fun to make some springtime magnets for the refrigerator with the die cuts, stickers and gems included with the kit. I simply stuck on self-adhesive magnets from SEI on the back.

This project only took a few minutes. And it could make a fun spring craft project for kids, too.

Here's hoping your April day is full of sunshine,
Stephanie

Spring Birthday Cards

Hello! It's Kelly here today to share a couple of simple floral birthday cards. I combined the Forever Sassy, Sweet Sora, and Hoo's Sweet collections for a cheerful spring theme.

For the first card, I started by covering a plain white card with patterned paper from a 6x6 pad. I then hot glued the beaded leaves to the top/center of the card. Using dimensional tape, the frame went on next...over the stems. I also popped up the Kraft Chip sentiment, and layered it over the bottom of the frame. To finish up, I trimmed down the stem leaves and added the dimensional flowers.

For the second card, I secured down the three Kraft Chip flowers to the top center of a plain white card using glue dots. Next,I centered the sentiment sticker under the flowers using dimensional tape. I trimmed down a piece of patterned paper to 1 3/4 inches, and stitched it to the bottom of the card. Finally, I added a border sticker, wrapped it with Baker's Twine, and topped with a button.

Supplies
Sweet Sora - 6x6 pad, Stickers
Forever Sassy - Assorted Frames, Sundries
Basics - Sundries
Hoo's Sweet - Cherry Drops, Kraft Chips, Stickers, Sundries

Handmade 30th Birthday Gift & Card

Hello! Stephanie here sharing a card and mini gift bag I made using the Club SEI March card making kit.

The Neon Vibes collection is so fun for spring and summer. I'm loving the energizing colors and patterns. The kit comes with supplies you can use to make spring and Easter cards, but that's not all. There are birthday-themed sentiments, stickers and die-cuts too, so you can use this kit year-round.

I love how the number stickers look like candles ... perfect for creating a milestone birthday card and gift. I layered die-cuts and stickers with foam adhesive to make a three-dimensional card. (I'm giving this card to the recipient in person, otherwise you would need extra postage to mail such a layered card!)

I also dressed up the envelope and a mini plain red gift bag to match. You can find these bags for about a dollar or less at Michaels or AC Moore. They're always in my stash. This tiny size is perfect for holding a gift card. I use them all the time ... a little more special than just placing the gift card right in the greeting card. Add some patterned paper scraps and a sticker, tie a ribbon and you're party-ready!
