Saint Patrick's Day Treats + Free Printable Tags

Saint Patrick's Day is about a week away. So, we decided to make some cute little treats to give our friends.

We made a simple little pocket out of scrapbook paper to hold Pop Rocks. We finished it ribbon and a cute tag.

For this next idea, we put some kisses in a little bag and attached a shamrock cut from our glitter paper and another cute tag.

We are sharing these cute tags with you so you can make your own Saint Patrick's Day goodie bags. Just download the image below. Enjoy! Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Saint Patrick's Day Card

Saint Patrick's day cards are so fun to make. The one we are sharing today works great to let anyone you love know how lucky you feel to have them in your life.

We used our green ultra-glitter paper and cutting machine to cut out the words, "Lucky Me" and a shamrock shape. The rest of the card is really quite simple. Layer a few shades of green paper and a little green ribbon.

DIY Saint Patrick's Day Shirts

Saint Patrick's Day is such a fun holiday! We are excited to share some ideas over the next few weeks to help you get ready.

Make sure you have an outfit picked out. You don't want to get pinched! If you don't have a lot of green in your wardrobe, you can make your own. We made 2 lucky shirts with some of our favorite products, iron-ons and tumble dye!

The first shirt was super easy to make. We traced a clover on the back of a green iron-on sheet. You can make any shape you want!

We cut out the clover shape and ironed it onto the shirt. Done!

We used tumble dye and iron-ons for the second shirt. First, we cut a clover stencil out of sticker paper and placed it on our shirt, covering areas we didn't want sprayed. Then, we sprayed green tumble dye. We used two different greens to create depth and variation.

After the dye is dry, we took off the sticker paper and heat set the dye with an iron. For the final touch, we spelled "Lucky Me" with iron-on letters and ironed them onto the shirt.

We hope you have a lucky day! Look forward to more St. Patrick's Day projects coming soon.

"Good Luck" St. Patrick's Day Card

St. Patrick's Day is the perfect excuse to bring out all your favorite green crafting supplies. And you can look no further than the Spring Picnic and Bits of Joy die-cut pack from SEI.

I combined these supplies to whip up a monochromatic St. Patrick's Day card. I love how the die-cuts come pre-glittered so all you have to do is stick them on the card front. Plus some of the designs look like shamrocks - so fun and fitting for the holiday!

Wishing you happy crafting and all the luck of the Irish,
Stephanie

1, 2, 3 Lucky Me Scrapbook Layout

Hello! It's Kelly here today sharing a layout made with the Hoo's Sweet collection. The greens in this collection are perfect for St. Patrick's Day projects, and boys, and feeling lucky.....or maybe green is just my favorite color ;)

I started this page by trimming a piece of patterned paper down to 8.5x5 and adhering it, and a border to a sheet of 8.5x11 cardstock. I stitched that down, along with an 1.5 inch piece of patterned paper to the bottom of the page.

After sticking down my matted photo, I tucked a journaling card under the border to the right of the of it. I then added my embellishments, title, and journaling. I finished it off by adding some googly eyes to my owl, and stamping the date.

Supplies:
Hoo's Sweet (Oh Honey Honey, Lovey Vines, Honeydew, Playful Expressions, Stickers, Kraft Chips)
Furry Friends (Sundries)

St. Patrick's Day 3D Pot of Gold

I love to make 3D projects! Today I'm using my Silhouette Cameo along with the SEI Azalea paper pack to create this fun pot of gold.

You can find the Pot 'o Gold svg file I'm using in the Silhouette Store. It cuts like a dream with SEI's papers!

This pot of gold is made even more special by the addition of paper wrapped gold candies. I'm using Hershey’s Nugget Candy because it has a pretty gold wrapper.

To give the candies a customized look that matches the rest of my project, I'm covering them with SEI's "Loaded Luggage" paper from the Azalea pack. To make your own candy covers size your labels at 1" wide x 3" long. They will cover the nugget candy perfectly. Then just stick them down using Craft Glue Dots.

I used twine and adhesive gems from SEI's Yesteryear sundries to tie on a four leaf clover and the sign. The paper creating the sign is the reverse side of the paper used to make the pot of gold.

I'm using Versafine Spanish Moss ink and Joy's Life You're So Punny stamps to create a St. Patrick's Day themed tag.

Create your own grass for this project by running paper through a strip cut shredder!

Happy Crafting!
